The Coal Fired Les Casquets Lighthouse were converted to Oil Lamps with metal reflectors which were first used on 25-Nov-1790.
Guernsey Postal Administration commemorated the Golden Jubilee of Electrification of the Les Casquets Lighthouse by the release of 27p stamp on 30-Jul-2002 which depicts the Copper framed Oil Lantern Light Source of the Lighthouse.
