The Fisgard Lighthouse was the First Lighthouse on Canada's West Coast. A 19th century Light, the Light here was automated in the year 1929.
Built by the British in 1860, when Vancouver Island was not yet part of Canada, Fisgard's White Tower has stood faithfully at the entrance to Esquimalt Harbour. Once a beacon for the British Royal Navy's Pacific Squadron, today Fisgard still marks home base for the Royal Canadian Navy.
Canada commemorated the Lighthouse in the British Columbian region with the release of stamp on 21-Sep-1984.

- Tower is CIRCULAR brick
- Tower is painted WHITE and Lantern is painted RED
- Height is 21 meters
- Colour scheme of the LIGHT is WHITE and RED (depending on direction)
- LIGHT character is 2 seconds ON, 2 seconds OFF
