Louisbourg Lighthouse is a historic Canadian Lighthouse at Louisbourg - Nova Scotia. It is the site of the First Lighthouse in Canada. This Canada's oldest Light Station, built by France during the period when Cape Breton Island was a French colony.
Nova Scotia is the province at the extreme South-Eastern corner of Canada. The Southern and Eastern parts of the province lie on a peninsula facing the Atlantic to the East and the Bay of Fundy to the West.
Canada commemorated the Lighthouse in the Nova Scotia Province with the release of stamp on 21-Sep-1984.
Built in the year 1734, the LOUISBOURG Lighthouse:

- Height is 17 meters
- Colour scheme of the LIGHT is WHITE
- LIGHT character is a FLASH every 10 seconds
